Visit by team members to Kathmandu
Meeting the Nepal team and visiting the current hospice.
In February Pat and Clive Newland (UK), Dr Stuart Brown (NZ), his daughter Emily Brown (UK) and two Canadian oncologists visited Nepal to get a first hand experience of the current situation. The team met up with their Nepalese counterparts and were shown the current eight-bed Hospice Nepal and the land earmarked for the new hospice on the outskirts of Kathmandu. The land has now been secured and building work is expected to commence towards the end of 2020 once sufficient funds have been raised.
